KATE is a young company with a growing and dynamic team. People with a passion for their work. Together we develop the most innovative solutions to answer the customer’s questions and respond to the market. We are part of the BORON Valuation Group with the mission “building a better real estate”.
KATE consists of 25 employees and will continue to grow in 2023. In addition to hard work, fun is just as important. From darts in the kitchen, golf on the work floor to a team outing every quarter.
YOUR ROLE
Your role as a Software Developer for KATE
In this role, you are the right hand of the COO and act as a link between the Technical Consultants and the development team. You solve complex problems, optimize processes and contribute to the further development of the KATE software package. Tasks that come with this position are:
- You solve complex technical issues and support the Technical Consultants.
- You optimize existing processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the software package.
- You act as an intermediary between the COO (Roderik) and the technical team.
- You think along about architecture and technical solutions for customer questions.
- You are partly responsible for the technical architecture and configure/manage the code base of the reports.
Your profile
You are an experienced professional who works independently and solution-oriented. You take responsibility for complex technical issues and have a keen eye for detail. At KATE, it’s all about teamwork and innovation, and you get energy from working on the technical side of our software package. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical or development role.
- Extensive knowledge of PHP and experience working in a sandbox-like environment.
- Experience with optimizing processes and working in a lean/agile environment.
- A proactive, independent and solution-oriented attitude.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues - A hands-on mindset and the drive to continuously learn and improve
