About KATE
KATE as your employer
KATE Innovations is a proptech scale-up based in Utrecht. We are an ambitious and growing company specializing in software development for the real estate market. What started with building a process tool for appraisers in the Netherlands has now grown into an advanced platform for customers in the Netherlands and beyond.
KATE Innovations was founded in 2016 out of frustration with the inefficient commercial real estate valuation process, which is why KATE developed software that organizes the entire valuation process from A to Z. KATE now offers IT solutions that improve collaboration between advisors, banks, and property owners within the real estate ecosystem.
About the role
Your role as a Junior Python Developer

- Real estate data: Land Registry (NL), CadGis (BE)
- Statistical data: CBS, Eurostat
- Environmental data: Google Maps / Places API for amenities
- Agricultural data: crop rotation, agricultural plots, and soil data
- Sustainability information: energy consumption, environmental scores, emissions data, and improvements
You will contribute to building stable data streams that are used daily to feed analyses, dashboards, and valuation models. Together with the lead developer (Job), you will work on a scalable data layer that supports multiple countries and data sources.
