The PHP development team has announced two critical vulnerabilities in PHP. PHP is a programming language on which many web applications run, including parts of our platform. Below, you can read about what’s going on and what we’re doing.

What’s going on?
The PHP team has classified both vulnerabilities as critical. The technical details have not yet been made public so that a fix can be made available first. The PHP team will publish that fix today, Wednesday, October 21, at 4:00 p.m.

What have we done?
We’ve been monitoring the situation since the announcement and have taken the recommended precautions. In addition, we’ve decided to temporarily take our servers offline as a precaution. We’re doing this to keep your data safe. There’s no indication that our systems have been compromised or that the vulnerabilities have been exploited. By taking the servers offline, we’re eliminating any risk until the fix is available.

What does this mean for you?
Our platform is currently unavailable. Your data is secure and will be preserved. You do not need to take any action.

When will we be back online?
Starting at 4:00 p.m., we’ll receive the information and update from PHP. From that point on, we’ll work on installing and testing the update on our systems. As soon as everything is secure, we’ll bring the platform back online as quickly as possible. We’ll let you know as soon as there’s any news.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We understand this is frustrating, but the security of your data is our top priority.
